CPA Wichita Falls Alternative. The month the bank already matches.

The close starts from the newest month the statement will stand behind. An open month stays open, and it is not copied onto the return. The district's envelope, when it comes, is answered from those closed months.

The letter is a list, not a valuation speech.

Someone opens this page because an April envelope asked for equipment that was never written down. The useful part is the list itself. Cost, date in service, and whether the item is still there. A speech about what the pile might sell for is a different document, and the district did not ask for that speech.

May 2015 was the wettest month on record in Wichita Falls, seventeen inches across a flood spring. A shop that replaced machines after that water often left the old lines sitting on the list. The letter does not care that the spring was miserable. It cares that the list matches what is on the floor now.

If payday has no provider yet, we open one in your name and then step back from the payday itself. The equipment list is a different paper from that setup. It sits beside the close so the reply to the district and the return are not two inventions.

How we build the reply.

Trust starts at the newest month the statement already supports. Everything after it is still open. An open month can hint at a purchase. It cannot prove one.

Then we walk the floor in words. You name the compressor, the truck, the racks, the computer that replaced the one from the flood year. When something has been sold, we write the date it left. A thing that is still earning gets a line. A missing cost stays missing. We will not invent one so the page looks done.

A written request can move the usual fifteenth of April to the fifteenth of May. We would rather use that extra month to match the bank than to rush a memory. If the chief appraiser allows a further short hold, that is a separate ask, and we do not promise it.

Real in-service dates on the list are what let the return stand up. Before that, any tax talk is a guess, and the call will say so.

What we will not pretend.

A month stays open in our notes until the bank statement agrees with it. Once that provider exists, every payday cycle stays in your hands. A signature on an audit, a review, or a compilation is not a signature we hold, and the disclosures page writes that limit in full.

If the honest answer is that you only need the list cleaned and one month brought forward, that is a complete answer. You hear that size from us while the phone is still in your hand. Later months can stay unfinished while those two repairs are the whole job.

Tell us the date on the letter.

Name the day the district wants the list, and whether last year's copy still matches the floor.
