Body type is 18 pixels on a white ground, with a dark ink. Contrast is held for ordinary text. A skip link is the first control. Headings stay in order. Every field has a label. Pictures have alt text. Focus rings are visible. The month list works from the keyboard and still reads if scripts are off. Motion stops when the device asks for less motion. Nothing autoplays and nothing flashes. Text can zoom to 200 percent.
If a heading, a field, or a picture gets in the way, name the page and the control, and that control is changed on the page you named.
The menu on a phone is a single row labeled Menu. Opening it shows one link per row, and each link is tall enough to tap. On a wide screen the same links sit in a row and the Menu row is hidden. Nothing in that menu depends on a script.
Pictures sit with the words they belong to. A tile is as tall as its picture and its sentence, not a fixed box. The form fields are large, the labels sit above them, and a mistake is named on the page rather than in a browser bubble.
If you use a keyboard, the skip link is first, then the menu, then the heading, then the button, then the article, then the form. The chat control sits clear of the first sentence.
